The largest Self Reliance Expo in the country. Vendors, product demonstrations, training classes, and great presentations.
These have been great events! Being able to meet William Forstchen, author of One Second After, was worth the price of admission! Not to mention the bread baking class, and all the other classes. I only wish all the companies in the self reliance arena came, so I could get all my shopping done at one time!
I was little unhappy with the $10 price to get in, until I realized it covered both days! Great value and so many classes going that my wife and I couldn’t make them all.
I waited and waited for this expo to come to TX. Finally came and it was on a weekend I had to work. I talked my boss into letting me out and I am glad I did. I purchased so much stuff, my wife was giving me the stink eye! Thanks for bringing your great event to the great state of Texas!
I went last year it was great, I hope the webmaster reads this, the website sucks as far as there is no schedule of the speakers, if you are taking the day off from work, it would be nice to know when to be there to see which speaker, also there is no phone # or email to ask anyone what the schedule is or even sign up to have the schedule emailed to you. you are missing some basis marketing and common sense. I don’t get it?
Love love loved the expo! The only improvement could be a better setting for the speakers. There were times when it was impossible to hear them over the crowds. Enjoyed the vendors and the ability to get my “hands on” a lot of gear. Looking forward to next year already!
I enjoyed the show over all. You had some great speakers and very informative.
I do have to say I was disappointed in the presentation areas. The speakers worked hard on their presentations but you could not see the screens. So a lot of information was lost not being able to see the visuals. Also there were not enough tables for the hands on classes. People paid hard earned money and had to sit on the floor for their class making it difficult to apply what they were learning. If it is possible to separate these areas or have a way to dim the lights this would be helpful. I sat center section 4th row back for Jack’s presentation. He had lots of visuals but just not able to view the photos properly to grasp all information given I could hear fine as long as no one was talking on the overhead pa system. For Dr Bones class i was front row center and i had a very hard time seeing his presentation. I sat third row right side for Steven Harris and could not see the screen there either.
I feel you offered me a lot of information and had many great guest that i felt honored to meet in person. They do lots of hard work in this field. It was also a pleasure to meet you Ron.
There was a few products and vendors i would have really liked to have seen demonstrated the main one was the wonder mill.
I used a Vacation day so I could absorb all you had to offer in the 2 day show. I saw most of speakers I wanted to except for a couple that overlapped each other.
Thank you again for bringing your show to my area. I look forward to your return
The expo has gotten better every year and the price is not bad. I thought there was a much better variety of vendors this year. The schedule was thought out for speakers as was spreading out the locations for them.
